ROOTED
Teens travel abroad
Coming soon.
The initiative of ROOTED is to give youth the opportunity to experience the benefits of traveling and learning about new cultures in order to become an active global citizen. The vision of rooted is to be able to create travel abroad programs for underserved youth. Through this program, children will be able to learn about a country prior to visiting it. We would connect with youth organizations in the partnering country and have the youth of both programs become pen-pals. Children will learn and practice the main language of that country prior to leaving. During the duration of the trip children will participate in community service with their pin-pal, go on excursions, and visit museums.
